Peak Rail - Steam Gala - 10th & 11th August 2024
The second weekend of August saw Peak Rail hold their first ever steam gala. Held over the weekend of the 10th & 11th August 2024, the event an intensive two train service in operation alongside a demonstration freight train, the event would also be LMS Jubilee no.45596 Bahamas's last appearance at the railway prior to heading to Severn Valley Railway.

Im Shure I saw it pulling out of Dartmouth last Saturday or Sunday? But their website there's no mention of it?
It was last Saturday, I don't think railtours going onto DSR (Dartmouth Steam Railway) metals get mentioned on their website if I'm honest. Best place to find out when Railtours are due their line is to check on Railway Herald or Railtour Info's website.
Nice one Jake. I am old enough to remember Castles in everyday service. That was a classic standing start from a Western engine. Another nice shot riverside too. I grew up just a few miles from Clun's now home shed at Tyseley. Many open days in the 70's spent enjoying dust and smoke. I even worked there for a couple of years 79-81. 👍👍👍👍
